Welcome to the 1st Birthday edition of 'in the klick'. On August 27th, 2008, we had our nearest and dearest join us at Klick HQ for the Klick Kristening and we are now about to celebrate our first birthday.

What a year it's been! Amazing trips to the islands of Hawai'i, a great week of Spring Racing in Melbourne, Havaianas Australia Day Thong Challenge on Bondi Beach, not to mention some great results for our partners.

We Blog The World

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended the Klick Communications 'We Blog The World' event, at Sir Stamford Circular Quay on Wednesday 5th August.

Some of Australia’s top travel bloggers, namely Ben Groundwater (aka The Backpacker) from Sydney Morning Herald, Tim Burrowes from Mumbrella and Lorraine Elliott (aka Not Quite Nigella) offered invaluable advice on how to kick-start a great blog. Thanks guys - you were fantastic!

First St. Regis to open in Hawai'i

We are very excited about the opening of the new St. Regis Princeville Resort in Kauai. Due to open on October 1st, the hotel marks the legendary brand's first resort in Hawai'i.

Meet The Team

As our longest serving team member, Laura McDonnell is our marketing guru! Lola (as she is known to us) loves a punt; "Tips anyone?" can be heard a few times a week around the office. She manages the advertising and sponsorship activities for our partners Reddog Technology, The Supercar Club and Patinack Farm. Lola also develops and implements the marketing activity for Klick Communications. Check out the updated Klick website which launched yesterday. Laura inspires us everyday with her sense of humour and passion for learning; she speaks 100 languages (OK, 5) but certainly a lot more than the rest of us.
